Description

Another month of growth. I forgot to mention previously that the substrate is a mix of regular natural gravel (100lbs.) and Seachem Flourite (77.5lbs.). I do a 1/3 water change once a week and at that time I add the following additives: Seachem Flourish Potassium, Seachem Flourish Phosphorus, Seachem Flourish Nitrogen, Seachem Flourish Excel, Seachem Flourish Iron, Seachem Flourish Treace, and Fritz Trace Elements for the fish. Filtration is providded by a 4 tray SunSun 524 GPH Canister Filter, there is also a Hagen 802 Power Head with a Sponge Filter Attachment at the opposite end of the tank.Only media that is used in the canister filter other than 8 pads is bio-balls in one tray and phos guard in another tray. The 2 remaining trays are just packed with white filter pads. I use NO carbon, as it would just remove the additives that I supplement the tank with.
