Good Job All Otto How appropriate that Darlene is our 300th forum member. She use to be very active in our club, until her life got real hectic. Welcome Darlene. Walter |

Wow! I didn't realize the local group was that big. I joined at the last auction and am looking forward to the next one. I think I am even going to attend my first meeting on Saturday.

I think it is awesome that we have such a great forum. It really is a great tool for the club.
I will be honest and point out that the numbers may be inflated for a few reasons. 1. There are lots of folks in surrounding areas keeping tabs on us. St. Louis, Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, etc. 2. Some folks forgot their fisrt ID and created a second. 3. Some folks joined to liquidate their supplies, tanks, fish to move or get out of the hobby. Good news is most are really fish people locally. We may have to move to that new ice hockey rink in Independence! |

What is our average monthly meeting attendance? How large of a room do we need...and if I can ask what do we pay currently?

I am not sure what the hourly rate is - guessing at something like $35-50 depending on which room we ask for. We are easily averaging 30 people per meeting with some over 40. I wouldn't be suprised if we are close to 50 by the end of the year with our upcoming expo! It is nice to be growing!

The last 3 meetings before the picnic were all over 40. I agree it is nice to be growing. It is a far cry from the 8-12 faithful folks a few years back that attended the meetings.
Thanks to all that has made this happen. It would be nice to outgrow the community center we are now in. Walter |
