The list of reason why membership is good is long and distinquish, including supporting the club, higher seller auction % at HAAS auctions, discounts at local LFS, voting rights at club meetings, etc.
To many to list, but, one that presented itself today. I stopped a LFS in Petsworld today, found some fish I have been looking for and some dry goods. The price was better than I could get online and no shipping. Being one of the many LFS in town that give discounts for HAAS card carrying members, I asked for my discount. Discount on bill: $ 12.00 Membership for year: $ 12.00 Not the first or last time this year I have used my HAAS card. So the benefits of helping the club by joining was free. In summary, even though you might be only be a forum member, you may want to Join the HAAS club. Easy to do, look at the Member and Sponsor link at the top of the page and if you are looking for a bargain like I am, the card is worth its wait in FISH... IMHO Otto |

I guess I need to find out who still has my card and pick it up at the next meeting. I keep forgetting about that.

Okay, I'm a dumbass. I just bought some stuff at PetWorld today and didn't use my membership card. In fact, I have never used my membership card there. *headdesk* I could have easily saved $12 in just the three months I have been a member.
I was even wearing my HAAS shirt. Although now that I think about it I might have had my sweatshirt on over it. Either way, I'm an idiot |

Unfortanately, I had to put my 2 cents worth in and I don't even have a penny (if you wonder why I am divorced, I used to say this to my ex). lol |
