My latest challenge.
www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=2461 I have a Stomatepia pindu female holding. From what I have read, they are pretty touchy. They spit their eggs if you try to catch them. The eggs don't survive if you try to tumble them. I am not sure when they spawned so it will be a guessing game for this spawn. I am going to wait at least 2 weeks and make a decision then. I have read about successful spawns at 16 days. The female seems to spit when netted no matter when she is caught. I really want to raise up the fry as these fish are on the IUCN Red List of Endangered Species. I changed water on them today and she is still holding. I have 5 of them is a 10 gallon tank with walter moss. This is another case of fish in a quarantine tank and they end up spawning in it. I have had them for over 2 years and this is the 1st sign I have seen of them spawning. Walter |

I'll need it. I remember I got them at the box exchange with the Dry Wash Aquarium club in Arizona so I have had them a long time.
