Not positive but after having these little guys for a very long time, maybe a pregnant dad.

The brown one next to the red one has a much bigger belly than any of the others in the tank. I am hoping. Time will tell.

That would be AWESOME Jack! They are so tiny! Funny to see such a big fish / big tank guy have some of the smallest creatures not called fish food!

Great pictures of them, yes, TINY! But you can see that belly.. It would be very cool if they gave you some "sea colts".. What will it take to raise a batch? will you have to remove them from that tank?

Thanks, big issue on the colts is hatching shrimp for them every day. Might have to hope they will eat frozen too as the challenge is keeping them fed after the challenge of getting them here.

Is there a BAP for saltwater snails? I can hardly believe it but i have a baby snail in the salt tank. Never had a baby snail in all the time that I have had salt tanks. I am kind of stoked about that one too!

Jack, is the issue for them live food? Or just the fact that they need BBS? Ever try decapsulated brine shrimp eggs?

If only we were closer. I have at least 1 fresh batch everyday. I have many Copepods and other small inverts well established in my salt tanks. I wonder if they could feed on those as they reproduce daily, and would be very small and everywhere, they just wouldn't be in the water column..

That is so cool Jack... I have wanted a seahorse since I was a kid, but never had the courage to try saltwater again the right way...

Jack,

The possibility of a batch of Baby Sea Horse is Very Cool to hear!!! I thought they were neat looking in your tank, and you said you wanted them to spawn!! Glad to hear that might be coming true!! Good Luck and Keep us posted.

I have not tried the decapsulated shrimp eggs yet, but i Have heard a lot of good about them. I HAVE plenty OF THE 90% HATCH Rate Brine shrimp eggs if you need a vial, let me know. Since I started the 90% hatch rate, I actually have MORE baby Brine than My 5 Fry tanks (And Fry) can handle. I may cut back a little on the dosage since i am getting more Baby shrimp than before.
