I have 6 spawns of golds! This is my first purple spawn. They have small spawns compared to angelfish.

I had 6 gold adults and lost all but 1 female - little water change incident which I will not be repeating. I found more adults and will be picking them up Saturday at the auction. I still have 20 - 30 very small gold fry.

The purples are from loacheman. I had 4, lost one little one. I think I had 3M, 1F, so they didn't get along too well. One male was definitely dominant, so I removed the other one and babies!

They are so small they don't even really look like baby fish. Just little things bopping around with eyeballs! There appears to be 6, but it's hard to tell. They won't come all the way out of their shell.

ya know I completely forgot about you showing me all your gold occies with the babies in their little shells when I was over. silly me. Way to go with the purples though. SOrry about the loss of your gold adults.

Yes, very bad. When you are doing water changes, take away any bottles that look exactly like your dechlor. Ph down does not do the same thing dechlor does, even though it's in the same bottle.

Talk about feeling bad. I lost 7 fish altogether. I figured it out really fast and saved the rest.

Congrats on the babies but sorry to hear about the losses. I have my bottles of fish stuff together on a shelf and could see how you could grab the wrong one. We may need to get better organized. That got my attention.

can you post a picture? I can't find a pic of a purple occie anywhere on the web. When you get ready to sell some of these please let me know. I'm setting up a 29 gallon with black calvus and I would like to have some occies in with them.
