So dumb move of the week I was doing a water change on ,y 90 and forgot the water was on until all the water in the tank had been displaced cuaseing a HUGE mess. Anyways got that cleaned up added the water treatment as soon as I realize4d what had happened and now my fish are acting as if they have terets, other than that though they are acting as if nothing is wrong. By the way I have a couple discus a few catfish 1 gourami and Angels and it is only the Angels doing this. Anybody else do this before or does anyone know what might be going on and if it's fixable.

Good luck. I pre-treat all my water just so I don't have that problem. I'm sure someone will chime in here that has some experience with that.

Check your pH...make sure that you dosed for the entire water volume if it was all replaced...just an idea.

My ph is running about 7.8 but it always has and I dose for 110 gallons.

How are the fish doing?

Some exposure to excessive chlorine can burn the fishes gills. This is not a good thing. Some fish recover quickly and others don't. I would have treated the water double duty with dechlor and hoped for the best. Tough situation for some of the fish.

So like a chem burn. Which means IF the fish recover it could take a while to do so. Is it possible that they don't die but never recover? Also the headline is not exagerated. The fish will be still and all of a sudden jerk or shoot forward as if frightened.
