I have a victorian that looks it's coughing or trying to throw up something that is stuck in it's throat and he has also lost his appetite. I've lost 2 so far do to this. Just wondering if anybody has a clue to what this could be. Thanks!!!!!!

Any chance that it is holding babies? It might be a dietary issue, but I didn't think most vendors are as delicate as some of the tropheus and other rift lake cichlids that have specialized diets.

I have never heard of any problem like that. What are you feeding? Is it possible they are picking up substrate thinking they are eggs?

Mike, its too little to have spawned, Walter I've been feeding all my fish Dainichi Color FX and NLS. I'm thinking it's stress related because I cleaned the tank earlier this week and it was also the smallest fish in the tank, but after I cleaned it I found the fish hideing behind a plastic plant, so I took it out. So it might have been getting chased.
