Came back from vacation and besides losing a 7" L200. My plants where decimated, eaten down to the core.
Looking input on what types of plants to replace them with? Here's my wishlist: Low to medium light rooted fast growing ? dense bushy medium to tall in height can grow w/o co2 system. My tank parameters: 90 gal PH 6.5 GH - KC water or liquid rock temp 84 f lighting: 2x65W 6700 power compact 48" coralife fixture 10,000K Daylight and True Actinic 03 Blue , 18 W each 30" coralife T5 Thanks |

I have water sprite. It isn't big and bushy right now, mostly I just have some 5-7" plantlets, but it grows like a weed. It should be fine with your lighting and water parameters.

One idea is Hygrophila corymbosa or Temple plant.
I have five stems in one 3x4 planter, this might need to be thinned to three stems. I think three or more stems would give a full bushy look your after. The tank the plant is in has less then you listed and are planted in ecco complete with some gravel plus a root tab when planted. It is a pretty decent low tech plant! If you want to try out before buying a bunch, I would pull two stems for you. |
