I might be interested in some Ludwigia and or Rotala or Hydrophila if you were placing an order.

what a strange coincidence! check my post on my 75 gallon. I was just in the process of getting an order together through sweetwater.

Jack, if you want to put some plants in the order with me you can. Shipping will be free over $35 and my order will be well over that alone so you can order a few stems and not worry about shipping.

pm me which plants you're interested in and I'll add them to my inquiry. Do it soon, because once my substrate gets here, I'm ordering.

I thought you had your substrate!

nope. I have my 3M colorquartz. It's just the cap. I'm getting mineralized soil for the base substrate.

Seems like I saw some mineralized soil stuff at Costco. Probably completely the wrong thing but that stuck in my mind. Wonder if it is anything like what you are talking about having ordered? We bought some miracle grow big bags since some times that stuff is there and then gone with Costco. We always need more soil than we think we do when spring hits.

no. mineralized soil is a different beast. No one really manufactures it per say. Takes too long to sell cheaply. I'm getting it from a hobbyist who was willing to do all the rinsing and drying cycles himself and sold me enough to do my two new big tanks. There are a few posts about the stuff and how it's made over on TPT. You have the perfect setup over there to try and make some Jack! Do it! lol I'd definitely do it, but no can do in the apartment.

to steer this back on track... I will be sending an email to sweetwater to inquire about getting the plants I wanted this afternoon. If anyone would like to jump on that inquiry (it is just an inquiry since the website isn't exactly up to date and their stock changes every day, but if he's got, or can get everything I/we need I'm placing the order. free shipping, really cheap prices, and Rick knows him is enough for me
