Does anyone have any experience with these? I am considering getting a couple and haven't found much on them aside from the planet catfish and seriously fish profiles. What would be the minimum per tank? Also, I am considering putting them in a 10g with some scarlet badis and pygmy corries, would they eat the corries? I figure the Badis would be deep bodied enough but the cories are pretty small.

My experience with catfish is look at their mouth. If it is big enough to swallow a fish, they will. I know nothing about your catfish. Both of your sources are good for information.

Thanks Walter, it is good to know the sources are reliable since it seems every yahoo with internet access is creating 'informational' websites these days.

I found this on them. From what I read they like cooler temperatures.
It seems they are a fairly new species of cat. I have never even read about them before. www.scotcat.com/factsheets/hara_hara.htm www.scotcat.com/erithfamily.htm They sure are tiny. Walter |

They sure are tiny. That is what interested me in them. I don't have any cats aside from cories and thought these guys might be interesting. They are on the Wet Spot list and definitely in my 'maybe' column. Thanks |

these are tiny little cats, they will work good for a 10gal. I had these last year and they are geat males get orange in color when they are ready to spawn. they lay there eggs in java moss. just give them some hiding spot and they will do great. also you need to add some live food every now and then.
