Having problems with MF loading the site. Not sure if it is me (my computor) or if something changed this weekend.
When going to my bookmark or when googling the site in MF, I get a blank tab showing the url in the tab and very bottom bar will show "DONE". It took a couple times of loading the site in Internet Explorer to get a full site. At first everything looked good until I entered a thread. When in a thread I could not see the sectioon where you see the avatars and profiles of persons involved in the thread. Anyways just threw this out there. |

Pam, can you send me a screenshot of what you are seeing?

I haven't had any trouble with Firefox lately, except for yesterday when we were doing maintanence. Also, try going directly to the homepage without using a short cut or drop down from your browser: www.kcfishclub.org. See if that helps. Also, might be time to clean out your cache. |

Seems as if might be something to do with my settings???
I went through my husbands log in on our computer and both browsers pulled the site perfectly, my log in still showing the blank page. Not sure why my settings would be different all of a sudden, but I will look in to that. Thanks for the quick response Brian. |

FWIW, I was unable to access the site all weekend with the exact same symptoms using Firefox. It is working here from work, but I was unable to view the site even this morning before I left work. I incorrectly assumed the site was still down. When I get home, I'll play with my firefox, and if I figure out the procedure to get it to work again (or why it's not working), I'll post an update.

WadeW thanks for the response I thought the same thing as you did.
I am on logged in on my husbands log in, but same computer and the site is pulled up and working fine on the MF browser. I am checking my settings and such and have found nothing different so far. I do look forward to your update. My cache and cookies have been cleaned out. I pulled up the site on MF and all is working well. |

Pam, when you say "your husband's login", do you mean on your computer, or on the forum? I think cleaning the cache may be the key.

Cleaning the cache is going to be the first thing I try... Also, you might try to find the KCFishClub cookie and delete it as well, maybe FireFox is attempting to send and old session cookie and it's causing the website to blow up resulting in a blank screen.
In any case, I'm sure I'll figure it out when I get home, and whatever it takes to get it to work, I'll post the solution. |

I'm having the same problem with Google Chrome. It'll say "done" but the page is blank. The site loads just fine on IE, but Chrome is SOO much faster, so I would rather use it...
I tried clearing cookies, and the cache, but it still isnt working. |

According to this site, it may have something to do with a RealPLayer firefox plugin.
I don't remember if I have real on my pc at home or not, but if I do, I'm uninstalling it. |

ok, I figured it out. For me it was a cookie problem (as I suspected). Here are the steps to resolve this in firefox:
Tools->Options...->Privacy Then on that screen, there's a paragraph that says: "You may want to clear your recent history, or remove individual cookies" click on "remove individual cookies" Now on this little window, scroll down to kcfishclub.org (they're alphabetical). Click on kcfishclub.org (dont' click the plus sign next to it, click directly on it) Then click the "Remove Cookies" button at the bottom. Now, close out of everything including Firefox all together. Re-open, go to www.kcfishclub.org, and voila, should be good. Wade |

Same thing works for Google Chrome. I dont know if anyone else uses it, but you all should! It's 1000 times faster than Firefox or IE.
