When you create a topic or a reply (don't use quick reply), you'll see the "Select image file to attach" with a "Browse..." button. Click on that. Make sure you're using the image one to attach images...the file one won't work.

The system's a bit quirky, and you'll want to go back and edit the post to move the <img> tag under your text...

See how the image above is displayed immediately after my text? If you edit the post and put a couple of line breaks (hit Enter after the image tags, it will move it down to make it look nicer. Also, the image may not appear right away, it may take a few minutes for the site to upload the image.

I would recommend using photobucket or another external file hosting service so you can use their image sharing links. Works better and you can post multiple pictures...

The image tags from photobucket look like this (with the [img] replaced by <img> so you can see how it looks here without the picture showing up:

<IMG>http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu305/slimbolen99/Aquariums/P4150009.jpg</IMG>

Don't know why it's so quirky for ya. Sorry. You may just have to go in and edit your post afterwards to modify the tags...better yet, use photobucket.

Looks like the images you were trying to upload directly to the site were too large. I think there is a 600 x 600 pixel restraints, as well as a size of the file restraint.

I'm new on here but I couldn't get a pic file to upload from my desktop using the Browse button. Not sure if that feature is functional - but there were no files that uploaded using the "Browse" button for me. It was well within the picture parameter constraints.

However, I did get add them to my post by uploading them to Photobucket (or you could use something like Flicker, or other similar types of sites) to host pics out on the internet.

Then copy/paste the IMG Code from the box in Photobucket into this Message(text box).

It looks like the example from ttrocket had an extra bracket at the end of the image code "]" - there should only be one.

The URL of your pic should go between: http://

Hope this helps! Have a great day!

Sorry the IMG Code example I tried to show - didn't post and was blank in the previous message.

I'll put this in between the quote marks for an example... but don't use them when you are posting the picture.

I hope this attempt to display the IMG code will show up....

The URL of the pic should go between: "http://" ""

Sorry that post didn't work either, ttrocket.

But if you just remove the 2nd close bracket that you have in your IMG code example above - and that should work fine if you have the pic in that path and falls within the size parameters for this site. May have to reduce your image size.
