HAAS Fish Auction
HAAS Spring Auction coming March 13th, 2010
Location: Palmer Center, 218A N Pleasant St, Independence, MO 64050
Keeping up with our HAAS tradition of incredible auctions, we are getting ready for our first auction of the 2010 year. Like the others, we expect this auction to be just as big with just as many great deals. In case you have never been to one of our auctions before, the quality, selection, and prices that are commonly seen here are incredible. We always have a strong selection of "high dollar" fish being sold for great prices. You may find more info on the Auction Info page.
Many of these fish are ones that you will rarely find in a local fish store. Most fish at the auction have been raised by local breeders in KC and the Midwest. Some fish that you will commonly see at the auction are African Cichlids, Central and South American Cichlids, Cory Cats, Plecos, Guppies, Livebearers, Tetras, fish food, tanks, plants, filtration, etc.Another reason to come is to hang out with many folks that love to talk about the hobby! Honestly, this group of folks are some of the nicest people to hang around with. We will have a snack bar with pop, water, chips, and other goodies for you to munch on while you are here. Beginning with the March meeting through the rest of the year, we will be meeting at the Truman Memorial Building in Independence, MO on the third Saturday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This location is newly renovated and is just across the street where our Auctions are held. We are very excited to partner with the City of Indepdence and look forward to seeing you there!

Every meeting is different and exciting. We bring in speakers from both inside and outside our club to present a program promoting the fishkeeping hobby. We also have a mini auction where fish, plants, equipment, and much more is donated by club members and auctioned off to benefit our organization. This is a great opportunity to get some really great items for your fish tanks!
