This is the first entry and as every journey has a beginning of a single step. This is going be the first step of documenting two projects. The two projects are completely linked. One the finishing of the basement of the new place and the second the completion of a fish room.
The old house that Julie and I lived in did not have a fish room so the tanks were scattered all over the house. When we moved to the new location we were in a pinch to have tanks already set up, to try and reduce the stress of the move. This worked some what and one of the issues is that the tanks are sort of centrally located in the basement. However, the tanks are spread out throughout the basement, and I am not happy with the current set up but it is a heck of a lot better than a poke in the eye!
But since I still have vision in both eyes here is the plan for the fish room. Tanks on two walls, possibly a third. The third wall is where the water spigot is currently. Below is the "third wall" with the water spigot.
The other pic is where the "soft" plumbing will go towards the basements grinder pump and on the other side of the wall with the 55 is a drain that goes to a grinder pump. With the plumbing in place it should make the water changes pretty easy.
